Project Management We provide Project Management support at either Project Manager or Team Member level. With over 10 years experience using PRINCE (Projects IN a Controlled Environment) and PRINCE 2, we can provide support to projects of any size. Having been received Structured Systems Analysis & Design Methodology training, we have been involved in the RAF's Logistics Information Technology Strategy Study to analyse the RAF's Stock Control, Accounting, Warehousing, Distribution and Provisioning (Order & Contract Management and Financial) systems. While this 10 year strategy was underway, we were involved with the development of several smaller Order Management systems. As the Project Manager of a multi-million £ project to design and deliver of a number of Deployable Local Area Networks to the RAF to support their deployed operations, this capability (including all aspects of support such as spares, technical documentation and training) was delivered ahead of time (14 months from conception to delivery) and within budget. We have also provided PM support to the Australian Defence Force following its decision to form the Defence Materiel Organisation which involved the restructuring and relocation of a number of departments. We were instrumental in developing a programme plan to establish the Defence Materiel Organisation (Air Force) and the relocation of several departments from Melbourne to Canberra. We also defined and established a new Registry and Electronic Registry system for the new organisation. A successful transition was achieved within 9 months. More recently, we have provided Project Management support to enable the transition of Logistic Support for the MOD's Chinook helicopter fleet from the MOD to The Boeing Company. Such support has included the production and maintenance of a Transition Project Plan, and the delivery of key activities such as Inventory Analysis, Inventory Audit and Business Process Design. |
